Our Branches

Ultimate Outdoors Ltd is a long-established family business, and has been operating in outdoor retail for ten years. All the management team are keen outdoor enthusiasts in some form or another.

We currently have five branches, Lancaster, Betws-y-Coed, Keswick and Skipton. Each one is ideally located to serve one of the National Parks in England and Wales, either the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales or Snowdonia.

Each building is architecturally unique, either converted from a historic building or in the case of Keswick, purpose-built to provide a landmark in keeping with its dramatic surroundings

Our Aim and Philosophy

As a company, we have a clear aim;

to provide the ultimate retail experience for all lovers of the great outdoors".

We try to do this by following the philosophy that;

we believe that all outdoor enthusiasts should be offered practical, honest advice about top-quality value-for-money products, backed up with first-rate service and customer care. This should take place in a friendly and inspirational environment."

These are not just words to use in adverts, it is a daily reminder of what everyone in the business is trying to do.

Our Staff

Ultimate Outdoors is a successful, growing business. We believe this is partly due to our aim and philosophy, but above all, it is down to our staff. It is our staff who must believe in our aim and philosophy, and do their best to implement it. It is they alone who can show our customers what we are trying to do.
