Y Coed is in the heart of the picturesque village
of Betws y Coed the gateway to Snowdonia, which is visited by thousands
of people each year. It is one of the busiest outdoor retailers in the
area with a very large range of outdoor equipment and clothing. The shop
was voted National Outdoor Retail Store of the Year in 2004.
The shop’s ground floor has a wide range of boots, camping equipment,
sleeping bags, climbing equipment, rucksacks and accessories, while the
first floor is devoted completely to clothing, including an extensive women’s
range. The shop also boasts the largest permanent outdoor tent display
in the area, which will be open all summer.
