The Ascent jacket has been designed as a mountain walking jacket and for trekking and travel use. This means it's a bit longer in the body and has a detachable hood, we also use 330g/12oz of US650 fill duck down that means the Ascent is very warm for it's weight but also relatively light and fantastic value. The outer fabric is Pertex Endurance which is water resistant so ideal for snow or spindrift and also very durable. The handwarmer pockets and fleece lined neck baffles mean the Ascent jacket is equally at home on the winter walk to work (beacuse the snow has brought us to a standstill) as it is on the mountain or at the crag.
