The Kestrel 38 is a great option for anyone wanting a lightweight, technical feature rich day pack. The pack comes in two torso sizes to guarantee a good fit and a simple but stable mesh covered backsystem gives fantastic comfort. An integrated raincover means you don't have to worry about sudden Highland downpours and stretch Lycra front and side pockets provide easily accessible storage. A really innovative feature on the Kestrel 38 is the stow on the go system: Loops of elastic on the lower side of the pack combine with loops on the shoulder straps to provide a useful place to stow trekking poles. Great for short sections of scrambling up/down rock when poles are usually a hinderance. The 38 features a lightweight steel spring rod to provide extra support of the heavier loads that may be carried.
