Blog of the Week: Dave Macleod

This is a new series, where every week we take a look at a blog that is making a stir in the outdoor world.  We kick of with the prolific Scottish climber Dave Macleod.  If you don't know of Dave then he is the first climber to climb a route given the grade 'Extreme 11'.  He named the route 'Rhapsody' and it is a bold, dangerous and highly technical test for the very best climbers.  The film E11 charts Dave's time on the route and is well worth a watch.

When he is not climbing, Dave gives lectures about his experiences as well as coaching others; both in person and online.  He does this through his blog, which is regularly updated with his exploits, tips and general thoughts on climbing.  Have a read and see what you think.
