It's Snowing!

We were very excited to see that the north-westerly air flow had brought snow with it.  The summit of Helvellyn has a dusting of snow on it this morning, so maybe not quite time to sharpen your axes, but at least we know that winter is on the way.  If you take a look north of the border, things are more exciting.  The Cairngorm Webcam shows a promising start to the season with a fair bit of snow being dropped overnight.  Fingers crossed for a great winter!
