Kendal Mountain Festival

Other than keeping an eye on the web cams for snow, the other thing that happens every year around now is the Kendal Mountain Festival.  Focusing around the long running film festival, this is a truly magnificent celebration of climbing and the outdoors, and something everyone should visit at least once.  As well as a huge programme of films being shown and some fantastic lectures by the likes of Reinhold Messner and Doug Scott, there will be book readings, interviews and the 'Adventure Film Academy'.

As ever Ultimate Outdoor is sponsoring the event and proving the Base Camp Marquee.  This will be located outside the Brewery Arts Centre, and house some very exciting exclusive deals from a range of brands.  Expect to see some one off deals on Haglofs, Icebreaker and Marmot, so get there early to avoid disappointment!
