Blog of the Week: Andy Kirkpatrick

Andy Kirkpatrick is one of Britian's best, bravest and funniest climbers, a fact perhaps best qualified by his current climb.  Andy is currently soloing the North Face of the Eiger by the Harlin Route.  Yes that's right, he is climbing one of the hardest routes on the most terrorfying north face in the alps, in winter, on his own.  You must have a sense of humour if you do that for fun! 

As well as climbing, Andy is a prolific speaker, journalist, film maker and gear freak with articles published in many of the worlds best climbing publications.  If you have a read of his blog and site you will enter a treasure trove of advice, gear guides and humour, so get stuck in!
